| Antonov AN-3 Light |  Antonov AN-3 T
" The An-3 aircraft designed by ANTONOV ASTC is a further modification of the widely known An-2 aircraft which has been in the worldwide operation for 50 years. Manufacturers of the former USSR, Poland and China produced over 15,500 of An-2's altogether. Over six thousand An-2 aircraft are being successfully operated in a variety of geographic conditions: in mountains, deserts, savannah of Africa, South American selva, in Arctic and Antarctic regions, over different water areas: rivers, lakes, sea coasts, and in other hard-to-reach places. The An-2 aircraft was certificated in France, Brazil, Poland, China. Unsophisticated design, plain demands, high reliability, and use of unprepared airfields with length not exceeding five hundred meters are the aircraft distinctive features. The upgraded An-3 version has a new powerplant: compare the piston 1000 h.p. Sh-62IR engine with the 1375 h.p TVD-20 turboprop fitted with a three-blade reversible pitch propeller (type AV-17), and a speed governor (type R17); the newly arranged flight compartment is now equipped with the heating and ventilation systems. | Antonov An-38 light | Antonov An-38 light
" The An-38 light multipurpose aircraft is intended to transport passengers, mail and cargoes along regional air routes. The An-38 was developed as a major modification of the An-28 production aircraft retaining the latter's better qualities and featuring a stretched fuselage, more powerful engines, and improved cockpit and passenger cabin comfort. The payload weight has been brought up to 2,500 kg, number of passengers up to 27 and maximum cruising speed up to 405 km/h. Improved flight speed, cargo capacity and fuel consumption have resulted in 1.5-fold increase of the aircraft productivity. High takeoff and landing performance, the landing gear with low-pressure tires enable the An-38's operation from/into small airfields including the unpaved, ice- and snow-covered ones. The aircraft is easily and reliably controlled throughout the flight envelope and has a high safety level: it would not stall at high angles of attack and retains stability and controllability even in the event of ice formation on the wing and empennage. | AN-140 New Regional Aircraft | AN-140 New Regional Aircraft
" ANTONOV ASTC has completed testing of the An-140 regional aircraft, intended for passenger and mixed passenger/cargo operations. An-140 is a substitute for the An-24 aircraft which has been operated already for about forty years. On the 25th of April, 2000, CIS Interstate Aviation Committee's Register issued Type Certificate to the An-140 and its derivative An-140-100. In the beginning of 3-rd millennium, airlines will have to cease using their An-24's because of the aircraft depreciation above all. The An-140 serial delivery since this year will permit airlines to begin their fleet renewal, providing operations all over the regional line network. An-140 aircraft can be operated in the wide range of the airfield heights and climate, in VFR & IFR weather conditions, at day and night." ... more

| AN-74TK-100 and AN-74TK-200 |  AN-74TK-100 and AN-74TK-200
" The requirement for a convertible aircraft has arisen from experience of operating passenger and transport airplanes on the routes where passengers are carried to destinations and freight is delivered on return flight. It is profitable to perform both types of transportation with the same aircraft which could be converted from passenger to cargo transport and vice versa within a short time span. On the basis of the certified An-74 cargo transport, the An-74TK-100 and An-74TK-200 convertible versions have been developed. At customer option, the cockpit may be equipped: for four crew members: captain, co-pilot, navigator, flight engineer (An-74TK-100);
for two crew members: captain and co-pilot (An-74TK-200). The bypass turbojet engines installed on the aircraft have settings ensuring maintenance of constant takeoff thrust up to the ambient air temperature of +33 oC. " more

| Antonov family overview | At present the air cargo industry is experiencing a boom cycle evidenced by air cargo traffic which has exceeded the passenger traffic growth rate almost twofold for the last decade. According to IATA, the Boeing Company and Airbus Industrie forecasts, air freight RTKs will triple by 2015. Capabilities inherent in the An-124-100 have offered quite new kinds of services since its entry into service. These capabilites have proved cost-effective for customers and manufacturers of various equipment. Antonov Airlines is the commercial airline arm of O.K.Antonov Aeronautical Scientific & Technical Complex (ASTC) and carries out worldwide cargo operations competing with other major airlines of the world. Our aircraft have carried hundreds of thousand tonnes including outsized and heavy cargoes which could not be carried by other aircraft. IN addition, charityflights have been performed under the auspices of the Ukrainian government charity programs and numerous different humanitarian relief flights.
