| The Multirole Falcon | | Once upon a time, operators could utilize whatever aircraft they happened to have available for a wide variety of tasks. Whether they were too big, or too small, or too fast, or too slow. But in today's world of sharply reduced government budgets, this is a luxury few can afford. The byword now is the right tool for the right job. And no line of aircraft can offer a broader selection of tools for more jobs than the Falcon jet family. Thanks to a system of standard modular change kits and mission equipment packages adapted to a large number of Falcon models, the Multirole Falcon concept allows to pick just the right model to suit the mission. Operators of more than 200 Falcons around the world have done just that. (Waoline traduction from french text of Dassault Aviation )

Falcon 50 MSA | " The Falcon 50 MSA is an upgraded version of the Falcon 50M operated by the French Navy as its latest Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA). It builds up on fifty years of experience gained by Dassault Aviation in the domain of airborne maritime operations. The Falcon 50 MSA is based on the proven three-engine business jet Falcon 50EX equipped with a THALES mission system and sensors suite.
It can operate in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) as well as in very remote areas, to carry out the following tasks: Surveillance of fisheries as well as other economic activities,
Surveillance of sea lanes of communication,
Search And Rescue (SAR),
Monitoring of littoral approaches,
Fighting against illegal trafficking,
Detection of maritime pollution and survey,
Assistance to other Civil or Military Agencies (customs, police…). The Falcon 50 MSA offers a very high level of efficiency, flexibility and last but not least safety." more

Falcon 900 MPA | " The Falcon 900 MPA is the achievement of fifty years (50) of know-how heaped by Dassault Aviation in the domain of Aeromaritime operations. It encompasses the best of the available technologies in the fields of airframe, avionics, engines and mission systems. It is a new concept of high performance, low cost and low risk, Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft.
The concept of the Falcon 900 MPA builds up directly on lessons learnt from: the Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft ATLANTIC family delivered to five different Navies and Air Forces The Falcon 900 MPA derived from the business jet Falcon 900DX, the latest version of the Falcon 900 family, is perfectly sized for Maritime Patrol Operations. It is swift, persistent, capable and safe. The state-of-the-art THALES AMASCOS mission system and sensors suite, as well as the platform are eligible for growth potential to meet new requirements that could arise during the long life of the Aircraft. | Unmanned Aerial Vehicles | " Thanks to its unique experience in the field of complex airborne systems, Dassault Aviation brings a recognized and demonstrated know-how, innovative operational solutions, as well as a pragmatic and dynamic approach to co-operation to the world of UAVs. Thanks to a step-by-step approach initiated several years ago, its know-how in the field of systems technologies and airborne vectors allow the company to be a major player in each segment of the UAV world, from the tactical drone up to the UCAV. Its technological background, allow Dassault Aviation to introduce innovative drone concepts such as the capability of integration within both, the civilian and tactical airspace, as well as functional survivability features directly inherited from high performance combat aircraft. These skills allow it to propose the best cost-efficient solutions to the users." more

| The Logiduc | " As early as the late nineties, Dassault Aviation promoted an autonomous, self-financed innovative approach to enhance its own UAV design capability, based on its recognized know-how as a major player in business jets and air combat systems design. Proceeding with a step by step technological approach, Dassault Aviation aimed, in a first step, at mastering stealth aircraft design and confronting it to modern air-to-air and ground-to-air combat systems. The Petit Duc - the first stealth unmanned aircraft to fly in Europe - achieved this goal on July 18th 2000 with its first version, the AVE-D. Designed and built within a rapid prototyping to cost methodology, this UAV has been joined by a second member of the family, the AVE-C, designed along the same lines to experiment unstable yaw aircraft control methods." more

| The Maritime Surveillance UAV | " In answer to a consultation from the French DGA, Dassault Aviation has studied jointly with Thales and Elbit Systems, a full-scale demonstrator of a maritime surveillance UAV. This demonstrator should be deployed aboard flat deck ships and should be capable of performing sea and shore surveillance missions for naval forces. The selected solution is based on the " dronization " of a general aviation airframe from the SC2A Ameur Aviation company. The originality of the concept rests on the dual flying mode - manned / remotely operated - offering exceptional capabilities for demonstration purposes, as well as opening new opportunities for future operational use by civilian security administrations." more
